I came out of retirement. But why you ask?  Because a friend needed someone to love a special class of fourth graders.  They had already had multiple teachers and she needed someone that she knew would commit to the children.  That was me.  Only at the time we didn't know that I would step through an unsupported corner of my attic on the same day I was to set up the classroom, the day before I was to take over the teaching. We didn't know I would tear the rotator cuff for my right shoulder and would teach this way until spring break when I had shoulder surgery.  Thus began the year I taught fourth grade with one hand tied behind my back.  Of course it was my right hand, my dominant hand, and the one that does most of the jewelry creation.  For eight months I was quasi-left-handed and my time was dominated by planning, teaching, managing, and loving fourth graders.  Hence no jewelry or website...until now.  Stay tuned for an updated website and lots of new products.  It's gonna be a fun ride. :-)
